Arabo(1863–1893), born Stepanos Mkhitarian, also known as Arakel, was a famed Armenian fedayi and the leader of Fedayi movement.

Arabo was born in Kurtis village (Bitlis provance) and since late-1880s he led Armenian fedayi groups of Sasun and Taron. In 1892, he was arrested by Turkish authorities, sentenced for 15 years imprisonment, but escaped from prison and resumed fedayi activities. In spring of 1893 he returned to his country from Kars to help rebels of Sasun , but was killed in 1893 during the battle against Kurdish gangs on the road to Mush (Western Armenia) with his 4 friends.
