Garni is the only remaining pagan temple in Armenia constructed in the 2nd century BC. It was later converted into a summer house for Queen Khosrovidukht after Armenia accepted Christianity as a state religion in 301 AD.
Hand carvings on the ring are similar to the ornaments of the temple, which symbolizes the never ending circle of life.
