King of Kings

Mar 19, 2015

Only Tigran the Great (King of kings) coins reached us from The Artashesyan dynasty. Tigran the 2nd reigned in Armenia in 95-56 BCE, and this period was when Armenia reached the peak of its development. King of kings was profiled on the coins that were minted out of silver and copper. The image of a unique crown with triangular edges was a genuine Artashesyan feature.  The reverse side of the coin depicted mythological characters. Remaining faithful to our culture and history, we created a special "Tigran the Great" Pregomesh. The central part of Tigran the Great necklace is decorated by the front image of Tigran the Great coin and it is surrounded by the figures of the opposite side of the coin.
